Wedding Guests | Personal Wedding Vows
at 9:10 PMThe wedding vows are one of the best parts of a marriage ceremony. The bride and groom have the chance to express their love and commitment to the other person out loud. Many couple’s are really starting to write their own wedding vows, and it increase every year. If you really want to write your own vows, this article will help you out. Writing your own vow doesn’t have to as extremely hard as everyone thinks it is.
First, congrats for choosing to write your vows and making them personal. Your special someone will most definitely appreciate this. Many couples get afraid about finding their own words to express their love for each other. Do not let this stop you. There is nothing more romantic than hearing a loved ones feelings about the other. Who else is better to create your vows filled with your love than you?
As long as you are comfortable doing so, there isn’t a reason why you shouldn’t write your very own wedding vows. An important thing to remember is make sure that both you and your fiancé are comfortable with it. It won’t have the same effect if one of you doesn’t want to write their own vows. You have to be willing to write your feelings down and say them in front of everyone you know. It can seem daunting, but when the moment comes all you will see is the person before you.
If you are planning on getting married inside of a church, make sure that the church allows you to say your own wedding vows. Some churches don’t allow this to happen, so check before you start.
Next, both of you need to choose whether to work on the wedding vows together or individually. There are good and bad reasons to do both, but it is all up to what works for you. Some bride’s and groom’s decide to keep it a surprise; while others like to know what their fiancé thinks. It doesn’t matter which one you choose as long as you both are happy with the decision.
Most wedding vows are broken into three main parts, which can make them a little easier to write. These parts include the declaration, description, and then the vows themselves
Most people find that the declaration is the easiest to write. The declaration is just declaring your love for the other person to your guests and that you do intend to say “I do”. This part can be as fancy or simple depending on what you want to say.
The description is and should be easy. All you are doing is describing why you love the other person. If you are having a really hard time writing this part, you should definitely question getting married. You can place a little poem or a few lyrics from a song that makes you think of the other.
The wedding vows themselves are difficult for most people. They also happen to be the most important part of the whole thing. All a vow is, is a promise of your commitment to your significant other. In the vows you will tell them your promise to be faithful and/or protect them for the rest of the days of your life. Your wedding vows bind your relationship and shows your commitment to get married.

Making the most waves in the latest wedding gown designs, would have to be Ivanka Trump's beautiful Vera Wang gown. The two ladies worked to create what Ivanka wanted - "something new." The hand-made lacy gown was inspired Princess Grace Kelly's 1956 gown when she tied the knot with Prince Rainer II of Monaco. The lines of the gown are somewhat illusionary, as the arm length ends beautifully right above the elbow. The dress is sure to inspire sleeves to come hurtling back into popular wedding dress styles. The patterns of sheer fabric look beautiful against the skin, not covering completely and adding visual interest to the gown.

Wedding Guests | Wedding Veils
at 9:32 AMThe wedding veil is probably the oldest wedding tradition that is performed during a wedding. Many people believed that wedding veils protected the bride from jealous spirits. This usually referred to any enemies of the couple who might try to steal her the day of the wedding. Wedding veils, were also a sign of humility, it was not considered proper for women to display their beauty so openly. Even back in the day though, brides were still considered the most beautiful of all women.
Wedding veils are worn today to complete the entire wedding look for a bride. Choosing a wedding veil depends on the personal preference of the bride and the wedding dress she will wear.
For brides with extravagant gowns, it is best to keep the veil as simple as possible. You don’t want your wedding veil and dress to be competing for attention. Plus, this could spoil the elegance of your wedding gown and you could end up looking to overdone. If you want to add a little something to your veil, consider putting a simple ribbon or trim along the edges.
If you have a simple dress, without a lot of beading or embroidery, the veil should add the drama. You can construct the veil to add that extra glamour to your wedding look.
It is important that wedding veils don’t hide anything on your dress. If the back of your gown is the center point, you don’t want to get a long veil that covers your back and hides it. Just make sure when looking at wedding veils, you think of the dress you will be wearing. You want your gown to compliment the veil and vice versa.
Antique veils have become very popular and is considered very “in” when it comes to the fashion industry. Besides the fact that an antique veil is very vintage, it is also considered good luck. Borrowing a wedding veil that your mom or grandmother wore at their weddings can bring luck to your new marriage. Just make sure that you borrow a veil from someone who is happily married for this to work. If you do decide to wear an vintage veil, try not to fix it in any way. You do not want to ruin it by trying to dye it to match your gown. Most of the times, if the veil doesn’t perfectly match, most people can’t tell because the fabric is so sheer.
Make sure you think about the length of the veil is suitable to the length of the aisle. Long wedding veils are great for huge churches such as cathedrals. In other situations, the veil will just bunch up and be a pain to walk around. Also, look at wedding veils that are easy to take off after the ceremony.

Wedding Guests | Glamorous Wedding Gowns For Every Figure
at 3:48 PM
If you have a fairly average shape and size, you will have a huge number of wonderful wedding gowns from which to choose. In fact, you may have so many choices that it can be overwhelming. The trick is to narrow it down to a general style that appeals to you, and then to focus on finding a gown that fits the bill. For instance, if all out glamor is your goal, you do not need to waste your time trying on dresses that are too demure or understated, no matter how pretty they may be.

Once you have found the perfect gown, you can pour on the glamor with the perfect finishing touches. Smooth hair is better than some of the more tousled looks so commonly seen lately. Makeup should be flawless, with either strong red lips or a sultry smoky eye. Finally, don't forget about your bridal jewelry; the sparkle of Swarovski crystal earrings and necklaces will give you a fabulously glamorous look for your wedding day.
Wedding Guests | Cheap Bridal Jewelry
at 3:42 PM

A beautiful pair of chandelier cubic zirconia earrings (or teardrop earrings) for the bride can be as little as $20 or$ 30 for the most delicate and sparkling pair set into a high quality costume jewelry setting, perhaps silver or other metal. They will not fall apart quickly, although eventually they will lose their shine. But for one day or two days or a special occasion they are more than adequate.
Cheap jewelry online is often a way to save money but may also be a great time saver because shopping for jewelry in a shop makes you feel pressured and the last thing you need is to choose a set of bridal accessories or cheap jewels for your wedding because a salesperson was pushy. Online you can shop comfortably at your pace and without any sales stress. The prices are often lower due to the absence of overhead to maintain a fancy bridal shop, and these savings are reflected in the prices you pay.

Wedding Guests | Hot Trends in Wedding Photography
at 3:10 PM

Wedding photography taken in unusual places is one of the hottest rising trends in weddings. Many of these pictures are taken as engagement photos before the wedding, but they are nothing like the posed studio shots your parents had taken when they announced their betrothal. Urban backgrounds are particularly popular, ranging from black and white photos set against a towering city skyline to gritty scenes in front of graffitied brick walls. For couples who do not live in a city, popular backgrounds include seasides, natural locations, and even places like carnivals and zoos. These settings are also gaining popularity for day-of-wedding photography; the contrast between the wild setting and the bride in her exquisite bridal gown, veil, and wedding jewelry makes for an interesting juxtaposition which gives the pictures an edgy quality.

There are several other up and coming ideas in wedding photography, including using images of the bride and groom on save-the-date cards, favor boxes, and even the wedding cake. Many couples are eschewing the traditional heavy wedding album and choosing to have customized photo books created online instead. With all of the amazing technology at our fingertips, wedding photography is a field that is only going to continue evolving in new and fascinating directions.

Wedding Guests | Wedding Guests invitations
at 7:50 AMThe new concept in wedding invitations is to send your wedding invites out in two batches. First send your invitations to those on your A-list. Then, once those on your A-list have RSVP’d you can send out your invites to those on the B-list. This is a method of controlling how many guests attend your wedding when you have more guests you would like to invite than you are able to invite.
We recommend avoiding the A-list / B-list method of inviting people if you can. But we understand that for some brides and grooms it may be very tempting to give this a try in order to accommodate a small venue or a tight budget.
The tricky thing is making sure that no one discovers that they were on the B-list — in fact, you don’t want anyone to even suspect that there is a B-list!
One way to do this is to make sure that you keep each social circle together on one list or another. For instance, your work colleagues should all either be on the A-list or on the B-list. If you make the mistake of inviting one of your co-workers with the A-list and have the rest of them on the B-list, then they are all going to be wondering why they didn’t get an invitation yet.
Since social circles intersect this can really get messy.
Another problem is that the success of this method of inviting people to your wedding is entirely dependent on each person faithfully RSVP’ing.
Realize that many of those invited will not be great about RSVP’ing. They will assume that “of course they know I’ll be there for their big day” OR “I’m sure they don’t need to know that we aren’t going to be able to make it.”
This can make the A-list / B-list option a bit challenging.
If you decide not to have a B-list, we recommend inviting about 15-25% more people than you hope to have at your wedding. Chances are only about 75-85% of the people will be able to make it.
You should also send an invitation to relatives and close friends even though they will obviously not be able to make it. For instance, send an invitation to your aunt and uncle who live on the other side of the country. They will be happy to have an invite from you as a token of your wish that they be a part of your big day.

A fantastic invite would be a normal square shaped card. Brides can choose to have a little header at the top of the wedding invitation with both names. You can also add the wedding date for a special touch.

Wedding Directory | History of Italian Weddings
at 2:49 PMIt is consistently absorbing to abstraction the history of weddings of altered cultures. One can acquisition that some of the old traditions accept been agitated advanced to the accepted weddings.
In Italy, to this day marriages are not performed during Lent and Advent in May or August. Sunday was declared the best day for the alliance and June was (and is) advised the ideal ages to marry. This is based on the Roman goddess Junio, apery assurance of home, marriage, and childbirth.
In some families the marriages were abiding by the families of the helpmate and groom. A macho about of the benedict would appointment with the ancestor of the advised helpmate and ask for her duke in marriage. Sometimes a agent was acclimated to backpack a bulletin to the advised bride's family. Once an acceding amid the families was reached, the brace was declared engaged. The -to-be helpmate was accepted to anon alpha acquisition accouterment (even for her approaching husband), furniture, and added items for the home. This became accepted as the bride's 'trousseau'. If the assurance arena independent gold it was not to be beat until she accustomed the gold bells bandage as it was apparent as bad luck to abrasion gold afterwards actuality married.

In antiquarian times a abundant accord of the Italian bells traditions consisted of warding off angry spirits. The benedict would be abiding to accept article adamant on his being to area off the angry eye. The bells blind was for the purpose of warding off angry alcohol they may try to advance the helpmate and disturbing the blind afterwards the commemoration was advised acceptable luck. The helpmate was not to accept a complete conjugal clothes until the bells day. It was to abide abridged until she absolved bottomward the abbey aisle. Presumably a final stitch was fabricated about on the dress at the access of the church. The benedict would delay at the advanced of the abbey and present the helpmate with a boutonniere of flowers and herbs, to area off the angry spirits.
At added times the benedict would aces the helpmate up and airing her to the church. In this case a log and a saw would be placed in their aisle and they had to saw it into two pieces to appearance their union. If the helpmate absolved to the church, afterwards the groom, the bounded bodies generally put things in her aisle such as a broom, beggar, arrant baby. How she handled these items showed if she would be a acceptable wife, mother, would be kind, etc.
In the commemoration the benedict stood to the appropriate of the bride, appropriately absolution his brand hand, aloof in case addition approved to abduct his bride. Ten assemblage were appropriate to accomplish the commemoration official; appropriately the charge for a ample conjugal party. They were dressed like the helpmate and benedict to abash the anxious spirits. The helpmate agitated (and still does in best weddings) a cottony or glassy purse for guests to drop their money ability in as a way to advice with the expenses. Another way money was aloft was by the best man acid the groom's tie into pieces and affairs them to guests at the wedding.
Following the commemoration the helpmate and benedict were pelted with almonds (in cobweb bags), three for accouchement and bristles to seven to advance fertility. In age-old times a loaf of aliment was burst over the bride's arch to represent fertility. At the end of the bells the helpmate and benedict bankrupt a boutonniere or bottle into pieces with the cardinal of shards apery how abounding years they would be married. Mothers-in-law sat at a table and kept a almanac of the claim of favors or money which bare to be witnessed (this is still done in some of today's ceremonies)

Most of the ceremonies started with accumulation in the aboriginal morning, followed by music and dancing throughout the night. Food was, and is, a ample allotment of the wedding. Thirteen or added courses were commonly served (a ample meal is still served at today's weddings); this represented the abutment of the brace and their families.
It's amazing how abounding bells traditions still abide alike admitting they may accept acquired somewhat to reflect today's society. Incorporating traditions based on ancestry is generally a acceptable way to account the old while adulatory the new.
Wedding Directory | Weddings at Sea
at 2:28 PM
Imagine saying your vows on the beautiful beaches of the Caribbean, on a hillside vineyard in Italy, or on the snowy-white glaciers of Alaska. The possibilities are endless.
There are a few stipulations when getting married on a cruise ship. First, the captain generally does not marry the couple (except with Princess Cruises). A wedding officiant will be provided by the cruise line for that purpose. Second, cruise weddings take place while in port, not while at sea. You can choose to get married on board when in port or at a selected location on shore. Finally, the bride and groom must be sailing on the cruise in order to get married on it. Your guests can, however, board the ship for the wedding without sailing on the cruise.
Many cruise lines provide cruise wedding packages and coordinators to make sure that your day is special and runs smoothly. Carnival Cruise Lines, Norwegian Cruise Line, Holland America Line, Princess Cruises, and Royal Caribbean International, all provide wedding packages for couples sailing on their ships. Crystal Cruises and Cunard Line do not allow weddings on their ships. The cost of tying the knot at sea ranges from $900 to $2,400 and generally includes transportation to and from the port, wedding facilities, wedding officiant, wedding coordinator, ceremony music, flowers for the bride and groom, cake, champagne, photographer, wedding album, and dinner. Duet, the simplest onboard package, includes the wedding coordinator, wedding ceremony, wedding officiant, ceremony music, bride's bouquet of roses, groom's boutonniere of roses, wedding cake for four, photographer, one wedding photo, wedding certificate keepsake, and champagne. Additions that are made for other packages include more wedding photos, larger bridal bouquet, champagne and breakfast-in-bed for two, round-trip transportation to the port in a chauffeured limousine, and chocolate-covered strawberries in the couple's stateroom.
These packages can be enhanced to include live music, videography, beauty appointments, tuxedo rentals, wedding invitations/announcements, wedding reception, and marriage license processing. Ask your Cruise Consultant about the cost of these additions.

For weddings on shore, Royal Caribbean includes many of the same amenities found in the Duet package, but adds indigenous wedding flowers, escorted transportation to and from the territorial court and ceremony site, local wedding cake, and secured, marriage license documents.
