Year End in Review

Happy New Year!!!!

Normally, I'd post a quick, I am so excited for the new year, and how much inspiration its going to bring! But I think what I really want to do, is show you our 2009 is pictures, since pictures speak 1,000 words, it might be funner!

So here goes...

So a brief explaination:

Top Row: A slight change in our marketing and Eventology - totally loved meeting people that I have talked with for years and made some friends for life!

Second Row: Make new friends and keep the old ones, some are silver and the others gold! The first is of, myself, Stewart Powers, Amanda, and Amanda - we had a great time at TJ's Studio Networking Event, And then the fun we've had the office, PJ Party and Halloween!

Third Row: My Best Friends Wedding, and at the same time, same picture, what you don't see is that I got to work with and made friends for life with Wes and Rae Leytham (Love Love Love - but don't tell them, I hear Wes gets a big head) and our Bridal Shows, along with Let's Eat Cake! You all know how much that meant to me!

Fourth Row: Photobooth fun with Matt Radlinski from Verve Studios, formally known as Prince K-Gallery, me being a dork, shoveling an entire cupcake in my face (another thing marked off my life list), My sister's cake from Let's Eat Cake!, and Keri Vincent, meeting her (another thing marked off my life list).

Fifth Row: Speaking at The School of Rad and the funness that ensued, and more photobooth fun with Angela from Adore Events.

And so much more! 2009 was amazing! But honestly, like alot of you, I am glad to see it come to an end!

Welcome 2010! Let's ROCK YOU!

Glitter in my Eyes

So, I have this dress that I've purchased for one of my Christmas parties and I am having shoe issues. I've searched high and low, scouring the shelves of every shop, department store and online boutique and I can't find anything. How is this possible? I know I'm beyond fussy but it's getting ridiculous! Then, like a flash of shiny light, I spotted these beauties. Of course they're on my favourite online store Net-a-Porter (UK based) and of course they're Christian Louboutin and of course they're simply gorgeous. Of course they have a rather hefty price tag, but after all it's Christmas, and I'm hoping Santa makes a quick delivery of these to David Jones. In one of my moments I could easily be pursuaded!

Sweetest Thing!

We recieved the nicest Thank You card from Kristina and Darren! I think this is a testimonial as to Why Hire a Wedding Planner! What a wedding planner does? And how a wedding planner can rock your socks off!

As a wedding planner in Gainesville, Florida (not a big city, nothing metropolitan here) sometimes the little things go a lot longer than you thought.  I just have to brag a bit...

Check out their wedding photo's here! {Thanks Gina Leigh!}

Dearest Melissa,

I'm not sure how we can even begin to thank you for all that you've done for us. We could have gone crazy trying to plan our wedding from Chicago! But you and your team kept us sane, organized and reminded us to enjoy the process and stop worrying about all of the little things.

You are truly perfection at what you do. From the first meeting you made us feel welcome and like instant friends. Thank you for being so available to your "Pedro" & Kristina! A simple phone call can relieve so much stress & resolve many things. We know how difficult it must be sometimes to be so accessible. We appreciate it, and hope we didnt' bother you too much!

Thank you for taking the time to really get ot know us, and listen to our hopes and wishes for our special day- without you, our vision could have been lost.

Thanks for being so much more than a wedding planner to us. Thanks for being a sympathetic ear, a therapist, and most importantly a friend. We already miss you, your office, and your hugs! We are always an email, facebook or phone call away! Let us know if you ever need anything!

Love,

Kristina and Darren

Lucky Guest Blogger! Part Duex!

I love Erin's Inspiration boards, they are so pretty and festive! And I can't thank her enough for her Guest Posts!

This board began with the festive pinecone boutonniere from April Hiler Designs. Black and white is, of course, a favorite palette of mine, and it is an easy palette to customize to any and every season. Red is a perfect choice for a holiday accent color!

My favorite color this holiday season is blue. Blue feels romantic and festive. I like the idea of adding a touch of gold and green to make it unusual and unique.

Island Dreaming

As the year comes to an end I always find myself daydreaming about holidays and places I would love to visit. One of those places is Santorini - especially if I could stay somewhere like this! Perivolas is a world-class small luxury inn perched on the cliffs high above the Aegean Sea. It is only a short walk from Oia, one of the most charming villages on the island, and offers a tranquil oasis far removed from the stresses of everyday life. Sounds perfect for the ultimate honeymoon! The accomodation, pool, location and view are all amazing - but I think the best bit is the breakfast which includes apple pie, cookies, pastires, fruit and greek yogurt - wouldn't it be lovely to start every day with apple pie!!

What Is Garbage Wedding Videography Dress?

Julie Zarchi and Terry Zarchi

As fearless bride in the world wearing their wedding dresses a second time to create such productions Edgy many are left wondering what exactly Trash wedding videography gown is all about. Usually, withdrew a few days after the wedding, the dress shoots baskets video shoot, as music and video allows a much more relaxed Wedding Videographyatmosphere. Newlyweds can express their true personalities in that time as a photographer and wedding videography can use their true art without the shackles of traditional wedding videography.

Trash dress sessions emphasize the stark contrast between the traditional wedding dress and unlikely location of the bride. Couples usually choose the location and parameters that reflect their personal interests and lifestyle, allowing for a truly personal and artistic creativity. Favorite place between the beach and ocean on the industrial enterprises of the city and the abandoned railroad tracks.

The bride is not done with the traditional wedding videography that their mothers were. They look at the creative possibilities that the dress Trash packages allow. Memories that these photo and video shoots pose seems largely outweigh the risk of damaging the dress.

Unlike the title, most dresses are usually not destroyed and show no signs of distress more than wear and tear, published at a typical wedding reception. Nothing that a trip to the local dry cleaner can not be right!

Dress Stores

Dress Stores

Where Is The Best Party Dress Stores Comparison

By Marissa Lindersom

If you are going to buy any kind of party dresses this season, it is important to know where to shop and how to save money by shopping. There are quite a lot of different places to buy dresses, department dress stores, boutiques, shops and a wedding, of course, online dress stores, is to find the perfect place to purchase which may be more difficult. There are pros and cons of each place to shop. In this article I will discuss the advantages and disadvantages of each location to buy a dress for a party.

Dress StoresPluses of shopping in a department dress stores that you have a wide selection of sizes, a lot of sales (usually), and gender-diverse selection of dresses. Supermarkets usually carry at least one of the main dimensions of each dress they do, so it's a good chance that you will get your size. Often, if a shop is not your size, you can have clothes delivered to your nearest dress stores in size with a simple phone call. Dresses Last season your best deal thinks department stores usually have unsold dresses for sale at incredible price (sometimes 75% discount).

Although there are several different styles of clothing in department stores, there are also a limited number. Dress stores carry many styles and types of dresses and other clothes, leaving little room for a variety of styles. In addition, they usually start their price at retail.

Stores and shops wedding they both have high overhead costs of personnel and rent, as this makes them unable to sell at lower than retail costs. They also do not usually carry a lot of styles in stock. Dresses are usually ordered through catalogs. Although some of the best selling dresses are available on the shelves, if you're looking for something unusual, it is likely to be sorted.

Wedding and boutique style is very knowledgeable sales staff. Staff is also available for fittings and personal care. Most other shops have little knowledge in a specific brand, however, the shop salesman, as a rule, have extensive knowledge of their products.

Dress StoresInternet shops are usually much cheaper than a department, or a wedding boutique shops. There are many reasons for this; competition, rental of premises and limited staff. Internet-shop does not have a monthly rental retail shop's. Given that the dress stores pay high prices for the fact that more affordable prices for their clothes reflect this additional cost. While you're shopping at a local dress stores is not so easy to check the price of the competition, as opposed to online dress stores where simply typing in a search engine can find a cheaper dress stores. Finally, the Internet does not have to pay sales managers, as well as many Foundation staff, cleaners, etc.

There are several drawbacks to shopping online, departure, FIT, delivery fee. In our dress stores you give up comfort knowing the dress would be flattering and fit well. In addition, the return of the dress can be a concern, as it must be sent back to the dress stores. Finally, the online dress stores can charge shipping, although some stores offer Shipping Online.

What type of clothing you decide to buy, knowing the pros and cons of the dress stores with the knowledge of the case, will be much help.
