Styles of long dresses and Platform Heels

In the early 1900s, women fought for the right to vote. Forced bustles, corsets and heavy dresses long, women have been suppressed by propriety, while being denied the opportunity to vote. As women's suffrage began to permeate society, skirts began to fall as women become more independent. An empire is reduced when the size is just under the bust, then falls to the length of the dress in general directly to the hem, but sometimes there is a flare. Capped sleeves are similar to short sleeves, but the end just over the shoulder instead of mid-arm.


Fabric is the most important factor to a long dress casual or formal. Formal dresses are usually made of silk, taffeta, chiffon silk and blends of these materials. Long casual dresses are made with cotton, rayon and polyester. Robes are particularly beautiful when worn with heels instead of flats. For a more formal classical style, a woman may choose a pen, but for more comfort with the same style, a platform heel in May to provide better options. Platform heels come in different varieties, including the classic styles or with unusual and beautiful casual or formal, long dresses.
