What To Dress Wear Etiquette

People like to dress wear appropriately for the event, whether it be a dinner with friends or an important wedding. But the host and hostess should be clear when issuing invitations that are willing to pay. I received many invitations related controversial for many years and wanted to help others dicipher vague dress wear requests they may receive.
-Formal education. Black Tie (Tuxedo) for men, half-length dresses for women.
Black tie-Preferred, optional or invitees. Tuxedo is the preferred choice for people, if people do not wear a tuxedo, then women should be in a formal dress wear to the floor. However, if a person does not wear a tuxedo, he will wear a dark suit, white shirt and conservative tie. Women in this case would be a short dinner dress wear or evening dress, skirt with matching jacket.
Business casual. Pressed dress wear pants or khaki twills with a collared shirt but no tie. Never wear jeans to business casual event. Socks and belts required for men. Women can wear skirts or trousers with a hose and the collar of his shirt. No flip-flops.
